New Owners for Chiripa Sportfishing and SAPO
Garry and Lori are excited to introduce ourselves as the new owners of Chiripa Sportfishing and the sport fisher, SAPO. We are super keen marlin fishers by way of New Zealand, where we have been fishing aboard our 56' Sportfisher Catamaran, November Rain , for many years. We've trolled our way through the South Pacific, including Tonga, Fiji, Vanuatu, New Caledonia, New Zealand and the Great Barrier Reef of Australia, spending months at sea. (You can read more of our offshore adventures at https://greatmarlinhunt.com). It's long been a dream to fish the calm waters of Lake Kona, especially given the large amount of granders caught there. Lori is chasing a Ladies' world record for blue marlin and Kona is the best place in the world to try for one. Garry's been fishing for marlin for over 40 years, and is a licensed Captain in New Zealand, while Lori maintains a USCG Captain's license.
